About
My research interest straddles the boundaries of several disciplines, primarily that of geography, political science, sociology and economics. I am currently engaged in three research areas:
1) Financial Geography and Economic Development:
A large part of my research is focused on political and economic geographies of financial institutions, particularly large institutional investors. More specifically, this research focuses on understanding the relationship between the political development of institutional investors and economic development at different geographic scales.
2) Political Geography of Sovereign Wealth Funds:
This area of research is interested in conceptualizing the relationship between sovereignty and the sovereign wealth fund.
3) Corporate Environmental Management:
This area of research focuses on understanding how firms manage their environmental footprint, particularly in relation to the long-term value proposition they can offer to investors.
